About Us
Fiona McDonald
I have over 25 years experience in learning & development working with diverse organisations, from not for profits to multinationals. to build critical capabilities aligned with business outcomes. My experience spans the the talent development function, including designing & delivering consulting, leadership & technical skills programs for groups as small as three and as large as 100,000 employees.
Most recently I was a Principal Consultant and Global Head of L&D at Thoughtworks. I established & led Thoughtworks Academies to build critical consulting & technical capabilities reaching 12,000 employees in 17 countries.
I executed one of Thoughtworks top 5 strategic priorities to transform account leadership globally. Built a high performing team and designed a leadership & change programme that reached over 1,000 leaders, across 17 countries, pivoting during the pandemic to continue to deepen client relationships. Our team was Shortlisted for the Women in Tech IT team of the year award (2023).

Nicholas Thorpe
I co-founded and ran an entrepreneurial software business in Melbourne for 8 years, creating business software products for the commercial market.
I then went on to lead in multiple roles across a 15 year period across three countries with the International Consultancy Thoughtworks, where I was a Principal Consultant. I also served on the leadership team for Thoughtworks Australia in the role of Head of Talent.
I am known for the effectiveness of my empathetic but no-bullshit approach.
